Let's remove/install doorsills
The Doorsills are held in place with 6 clips. To remove the doorsills, you will need to start at one end and release each clip. I started at the front end of the door sills and worked my way back.
Use an Interior Trim Removal Tool to un-dock each clip. If you have one with a V shape on the end, you will be better off as you can get on each side of the clip. ![]() Slowly work your way to the other end and the door sill will be removed. The back of the doorsill looks like: ![]() With the doorsill removed, you can install the new doorsill. Installation is simple, simply line up the clips with their respective holes and push down until the clips dock. ![]() |

yeah I would really like to put in the illuminated doorsills to match the illuminated door-handles. If anyone has done this, how difficult was it to do? where did you get the replacement doorsills?
Thanks in advance! |
