Gotta love the Coral Red and Terra interiors with the right exterior colour.

Not likely and may be technically impossible seeing 1 has much smaller trunk.

And, it's not wanted. Why would I want an almost 4000lb 1'er?

Not likely - I agree, BMW want to keep soft tops in their line up...

Technically impossible - absolutely not ! there are numerous car makes out there that make hard top verts which are much smaller than a 1er...look at the Mitsubishi Colt or Peugot 207CC for example

Yes, boot space is restricted, that's a disadvantage to them and 'maybe' a concern for BMW with the 1er ?? but it can certainly be done on this platform - no doubt

This is my first post. I really like the black and terra, but my boss has a 335i vert with it, so I could not go that route.

Here are a couple of shots of mine:

Will post pics with the top up as soon as I have a chance.

Love the Blue Water Sadie. Beautiful car. That's my other favorite color of the 1 (next to Cashmere of course)

Thanks racer chops! I love your cashmere too. The blue water and cashmere were the two I kept going back and forth between before I ordered. Yours turned out great. I had to wait 2 months. What was your wait?

I was very lucky, only had to wait a few weeks to get the car shipped from another dealer. I traded in my Blue Water X3, and like you, wanted either Blue Water, or Cashmere. Feel very fortunate to find the Cashmere just waiting for me.
