Not likely and may be technically impossible seeing 1 has much smaller trunk.

Not likely - I agree, BMW want to keep soft tops in their line up...

Technically impossible - absolutely not ! there are numerous car makes out there that make hard top verts which are much smaller than a 1er...look at the Mitsubishi Colt or Peugot 207CC for example :wink:

Yes, boot space is restricted, that's a disadvantage to them and 'maybe' a concern for BMW with the 1er ?? but it can certainly be done on this platform - no doubt :smile:

This is my first post. I really like the black and terra, but my boss has a 335i vert with it, so I could not go that route.

I was very lucky, only had to wait a few weeks to get the car shipped from another dealer. I traded in my Blue Water X3, and like you, wanted either Blue Water, or Cashmere. Feel very fortunate to find the Cashmere just waiting for me.
