Thumbs up BMW of Austin

Hi,

I just wanted to say that I had a very pleasant ordering experience with BMW of Austin. I was able to get a slightly lower price from BMW of San Antonio, but the Austin dealership was much friendlier and is much more convenient location for me.

Thanks.

I totally agree... The sales department is friendly, but their service department needs a lot of improvements in every aspect...

Cheers!!

Neither dealership is competitve on price, even for orders.

Whose service department? Austin's or San Antonio's? I'm relocating to SA in a few months and I'm trying to get a feel for the dealers in the area.

Or any recs on good indy shops, if you know of any.

Thanks.

I didn't have a mandatory $500 paint protection fee at BMW Austin. I think I got a pretty good deal, too (correct me if I'm wrong)....

135i 6MT, metallic paint, MSport, Premium, HK Sound for just under $38,000 (with the $1,500 holiday cash discount, not including tax/title/fees).

It's for BMW of Austin. I heard good stuff about Black Forest Wrekshop in Austin, but haven't tried them yet... I cannot say anything about BMW of San Anton since I have never dealt with them... Cheers!

I had a horrible experience at the service department at BMW of Austin a few months ago... I hope they've improved... I agree the waiting area is very nice and pleasant....

Cheers!!

On the other hand, their service department seems to be adequate and professional. The waiting area is as good as it gets if you don't go to a gentleman's club.

NEVER get your car washed there! They use brushes and rags in the automated wash!
