In California, how long do I have from the date I get my 135i to put on the license plates? My plates came after about 5 weeks, but I think I may have up to 90 days to put them on. Anybody know for sure? I figure if I don't yet have either plate on, then I can't get a ticket for not putting the front plate on. Plus, I get to extend that new car aura.

I decided to transfer my plates.
Any idea what happens when they deliver the car?
Does the dealer issue a temp window tag?

temporary registration is good for six months. Though some people choose not to put the real plates on and drive around with paper plates.....it does not excempt you from being cited.

I got mine after 3 week and reassigned personalized plates the same day. But I will still wait for few months before putting them on. Car without plates looks cool.
