was actually talking to the owner of Elmhurst BMW a few days ago
figured that it is a central location for everyone

he seemed accepting of allowing us to meet there and possibly have a service tech answer any questions we may have -- maybe doing a DIY for a mod, like the short shift kit or whatever...

i'll keep you all informed

any day or time of the week better than others?

I would prefer a location where some fun driving can be had as well (read not completely urban w/35mph speed zones) but anywhere is cool. We need to start getting together.

We definitely need to all get together sometime. I've only seen like one 1er out here around the western burbs. I think I keep seeing the same one around Yorkville/Oswego area.

Hey Chitownians....im going to be in Chicago for a conference the first week in August so if anything is going on that week let me know. Ill be driving my 1 there probably so even some suggestions on cool places to go.

he's happy to have us meet there -- but not until next month...

guess we'll have take up Joe's offer and meet at Renn-Art this month
would be interesting to see what new products and services he has for the 1 series

we want to meet during the week -- like a wednesday, early evening - 7pm?
