Standard headlights

Did anyone else stick with the standard headlights, or have you all gone for zenon's (i know i could check your pic's... but it's late!).

Interested as just been out after dark for the first time and found them a little dim.

Last car had zenons, pissat has projector... can't tell if these are normal or mine are bad somehow.. or if std halogen really is that much duller and i've just forgotten?!

enlighten me please! ....'scuse the pun.

We had the standard halogens in our E46 330 Ci and thought they were really bad.

Both our current cars have Bi-Xenon's which are very very good.

Look for some decent upgraded Halogen bulbs and replace the stock ones - you can also go for a whiter look too.

Hi Moff,

The above website doesn't list the 1-series on the website. Which bulbs do you recommend I buy...?

That's what I wanted to ask - definitely same as the 1 series hatch? Cheers.

I got the xenons but I'm a little ticked off the headlamp's white (nice) but the angel eyes are yellow. I don't mind either - but why are they different colours? So I'm looking to buy white angel eyes I think. However other mods are more pressing...

If you want white angel eyes just get the GP Thunders that are in my sig.

I bought them from eBay for both our cars and they look great. Not quite as bright as the stock yellow things in the bright sunlight, but as it's usually cloudy they look fantastic.
