Virginia Beach/Norfolk Metro Area

just wanted to see if anyone else in this area wants to represent and share pics of their 1. I picked up a 128i, Sedona Red w/black interior. Surprisingly, I have yet to see another one on the road yet around here. I'll have my pics posted up here shortly.

I haven't ordered yet but i'm from Chesapeake, if you dont mind me asking who did you have for a salesman and how much over invoice/under msrp did you pay?(I assume you bought from the va beach blvd dealer) I went there a week or two ago and my salesman wasn't willing to go under msrp at all... which i find funny.

I bit the bullet and just paid th MSRP. I got the same pitch probably from my salesperson that these vehicles were new and moving fast, so that is why the were not negotiating. Darrell was my salesperson there on VB Blvd, I have to say he was pretty cool though...definitely not one of those high-pressure salespeople you more often run into. I would recommend you speak with him if you are considering...seemed to be extremely knowledgable about BMWs and just a mild-mannered individual.

They have a decent selection...are you getting the 128 or the 135?

Good luck being patient waiting for the car. BTW, you might want to consider having 3M paint protection film installed. If you're going to have it installed.. the sooner the better. If you haven't noticed, dump trucks are terrible on I-64.

Is the paint protection a dealer installed option?

I don't believe checkered flag installs it. The guy in Chesapeake (see the link) installs film for quite a few various dealerships in the area. I had it installed in their shop off volvo parkway.

I expect to do a medium tint all around and have the guy you recommended install the clear bra on the front and mirrors. I am shopping for wheels and and all weather tires to get me through to the spring. I hope to find someone who is selling the stock rims, and than I will have them repainted a dark gray powder coat.

Va Beach, Here.

Mine should hopefully be here sometime in Dec. Bought mine at Checkered through email only. Gave me 1200 off msrp. Ok, I guess....I was satisfied with that. Tit silver 135 w/sport and premium-heated seats.

Already bought the uuc short shifter and alum pedals and the car isn't even finished being built.

Waiting sucks.
