That stuff is outrageously good. You just can't use paper towels with it. I typically use a microfibre cloth as I'm sure most 1Addicts do. You could buy three packs of it at Costco before as well.

I'll be sure to pick some up. I didn't buy Griot's glass stuff based on the bad posts I read. I got some MF cloths from Griot's just for glass.
I must admit, not impressed with the Griot's. But, I'm pretty inexperienced at this stuff so I'll hold off on final judgment. I am a little concerned about buying a orbital. I can use a good polish to get rid of small lines from the dealer, but its not bad enough to drive me crazy yet. You can easily lose your mind with this stuff. |

I have heard that as well before but I'm not willing to try it out. The paper towels have something in it that makes it streak which is hardly invisible. I, of course, didn't read the can in the beginning and found out the hard way.

Another great and cheap option is Sprayway Glass Cleaner. You can get it at Costco. It comes in a Light Blus can with clouds on it. It is a very generic brand but it works great.
It sprays out in a foam so it will not run down the window too fast and go into the seals:thumbup: BTW- Newspaper works really well but only with some cleaners. Other cleaners will not work well with them:iono:

I find the microfibre to work incredibly well with invisible glass. No pieces of stray fabric left on the windows.

Invisible Glass and Newspaper...FTW
You need to crumple up the newspaper into a ball....it works great...I've been using it for years.

That's what I use as well. Works great and doesn't seem to streak like some other glass cleaners. They sell it at Sam's Club in a 4 pack as well.

You won't beleive that a newspaper could clean a window till you try it. It works well and you can buff the window a bit with a crunched up piece of newspaper. It gets rid of the film that most cloths leave behind. Having said that...I think that a good microfibre is better!

Clean all the bugs and junk w/ the newspaper,..polish off any haze w/ microfiber.
Been using the papers for years,..works good, free, and its a form of recycling.

I would try to find something that says on the bottle that it is safe for tint. That way you do not have to guess whether or not it is.
Meguiars NXT Generation Glass Cleaner is what I use on the inside of the windows (where the tint film is) and like I said above I use Sprayway for the outside. The NXT not only works well on tint, it smells good for the inside of the car:w00t: The main thing to look for is NO AMMONIA on tinted windows. Windex has ammonia in it but they do have ammonia free stuff too.

Same here, I just bought a bottle of Stoner's and there is no ingredients but it says safe for tinted windows on the back. I'm gonna try some tomorrow first on the outside with newspaper and perhaps a bit on the inside to see if there is anything bad...hopefully not :iono: BTW anyone prefer the spray over the aerosol can or vise versa? I didn't know if one is better than the other.
