Wow, I'm flattered to have one of my pictures among the top 10! If I recall correctly, I took that picture (#5) on the West side of either Oberalppasse or Furkapasse in Switzerland. My heart aches to go back to that kind of scenic beauty.

#2 would have been better with a slightly different angle or a wide angle lens. I actually voted for #7.

i love 2 and 5.

2 because of the lighting and the industrial feel to it, and 5 because of its wonderful use of the foreground leading up to the horizon (i'm sure there's a photography term for this, but i won't front

)

since i can only pick one, i voted 5 because of a very very minor nitpick - the placement of the graffiti makes the right of the photo look a bit busy and takes a bit of attention away from the lines of the cars...

I agree with the majority of the pics being ordinary (and not just because non of mine were picked--ugh)

I like the Black Vert with the flowering trees in the background, but I don't think I am going to vote for any of them. There were many other pics with much better detailing and photographic skills presented to have not made the cut. So, in protest, no vote will be cast from me.

Way to screw up the contest guys.
