High revs in DS mode

I'm currently running with the SSTT and I have noticed that a couple times when I am in DS mode and I punch it, the rpms get stuck around 6,000. I then have to punch it again or switch over to regular drive mode. Anyone else have this problem?

I have had the SSTT for about 2 months. It hangs at 6,000 until I either punch the acclerator again or if I slide it over to regular drive mode. It only seems to happen if I jab the accelerator when I do a quick pass. Only has happened twice since I have owned the car which is since May and only since I have had the SSTT.

Not really. It is hard to describe. It feels like the transmission might be stuck and I have make it shift again (does that make since?) I'll try to see if I can get it on video.
Thanks,
Ken

Our 3 series did that on the track a couple of times. Can't explain it. Got rid of that for the 1 w/ a manual though.

so the transmission stuck or hanging wouldnt be a torque converter issue?

all the SSTT does is alter the altitude your car thinks it's at, it wont affect shift points

you can always remove it to confirm
