Former e90 owners: what do you miss?
I'm going to be transitioning from an e90 325i with nav, sport, premium, logic7 and leather packages to a 128i with nav, sport, comfort, logic7 and premium packages. I'm really looking forward to the slightly more compact and sporty nature of the 1-series.
I'd love to hear comments from others that have made a similar transition and if there's anything from their e90s that they miss? Of course the obvious thing will be the spacious and well-appointed back seats of the e90 compared to the rather minimalist back of the 1-series. How about some less obvious things? -Tim |

My thoughts
I too had an O6 E90 and now am in an E88. Here's what I've noticed and don't like
-Nav screen is half the size and not split, so you can't monitor 2 things at one time like radio or making a call and nav -This is annoying when you are using nav and in another screen like radio, because nav takes over -Dashboard is smaller and you can't see DTE and mileage at the same time, one function at a time -only one hood latch, instead of 3 -Center arm rest space is drastically reduced -Gas mileage was better in the 325 But overall I do like the car, I just never noticed those things and I kind of miss having them. But I get over it when the top goes down. |
