Look up Ultimate Racing. They offer their kit with the Tial and HKS valves.

I'm just trying to understand things here:

Doesn't the N54 already have two BOVs?

For the HKS SSQV wouldn't it require you to block off the existing BOVs?
And would you have to recirculate it back into the Air System?

The n54 has dual diverter valves. Yes the unused air gets directed back into the intake. With a BOV the air is vented to the atmosphere. Since the n54 has a MAP not MAF sensor, the purged air is not metered and as a result causes no issues.

The stock valves are removed and are replaced by the BOV and charge pipe, or forged diverter valves if you were to go that route.

Ultimate racing sold me mine... No performance from it but it should sound and like nice... Pretty much just a bling bling piece but it is functional (if you were runing high boost pressure it would release the pressure better than the stock diverter valves because they are not made for high pressures)..

Black pipe and HKS Blow of valve is a direct replacement part.

Does anyone one have the hks bov on there car.... how is it?.. i was talking to my dinan dealer the other day and he said that getting a bov could result in psi leaking out at higher rpms and some times not even enoughf psi to get the turbos spoolin! And he also said that he had another 135 that the turbines melted off the turbos..... i was just wondering if this is tru or if he was just wanting me to keep my car stock and was trying to scare me...

A BOV is just not needed. I would save the money for something useful. JMHO

Here is mine....

And just so you know it is useful but only if you raise the boost level..... Plus it looks and sounds cool....

If you can get it, I suggest the Blitz BOV as this is a German name, and sounds really nice.

hows the install on that badboy?
I run one on my wrx right now and i cant do without it, lol. The black looks really nice.
I cant believe he told you your turbines would melt off.. wth is he talking about. i mean if you boosted more than what the bov can handle you maybe have issues.. but wth.. if your boosting that much you probably have custom piping and just slap on 2 hks bovs. My friend had a setup like that on his gtr r32.

i doubt the n54 engine can handle more boost than the HKS bov can hold...
