A ton of AW's spotted in Vancouver/Richmond... - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

I went out on the weekend & I must've seen half a dozen or so AW 1'ers around.

There was a coupe parked on Robson.

A 'vert driving down Robson.

A 'vert parked on Denman.

A 'vert driving down Kingsway.

A 'vert in Aberdeen Centre parkade.

A coupe on No 3 road.

A coupe on HWY 1 near Portman Bridge.

All Alpine White.

Seems like it's the colour to get here on the West Coast!

Also, saw a black 'vert parked on Denman, a montego coupe also on HWY 1, a graphite coupe parked in Metrotown & a sedona coupe near Boundary (could be a Jessel test car).

They were pretty much all 135's. I think one of the AW 'verts was a 128i.

I guess they're all coming out to play on the weekends!

dang, and that is why i am no longer ordering AW, lol, musta been rubber necking hard at all that 1 series glory.

That's funny as I've seen a lot of 1's and only have ever seen one AW and it was a vert.

White is the new silver - I've only seen white and black 1ers so far.....apparently those are the most popular colour for BMW period.

Do you take the Portmann eastbound in the evenings? If so I've seen you a couple of times - I'd be the one drooling from a black Honda Civic Coupe.

I wasn't sure if the 135 i saw was Le mans blue or Montego.

M Sport package looks nice either way

the biggest problem is the trade-in value for my 323i is too low.
that's why I am hesitate to order.

When I was in Van for a weekend I saw four 1ers. Every one of them was AW. They looked so hot though it did sway me to finally decide on LMB. I kind of want to seperate myself from the popular monochromatic BMW colour choices, but it was a tough decision for me.

I saw a SGM 135i Coupe this afternoon on West 2nd heading eastbound.

Wow! Looked stunning in the afternoon sunshine.

It really popped out from all the other mundane rubbish everyone else was driving.

Simply gorgeous!

Yep! it was just after 4pm & a lady driver enjoying herself!

We went along W4th - W6th - W2nd - Gt Northern Way & at Clark I turned right & she tuned left.

Your car looked really stunning.

There was much jealousy on my part!
