Rear Shock Mounts

Does anyone have recommendations for good rear shock mount for our cars? Are E9x RSMs the same fitment? I'm looking to upgrade from OE when I do a Koni install.

I don't recall reading about anyone changing out the rear shock mounts, so I'll be interested in your experience if you go this route. Also, I'm going with the TC Kline DA setup. Is this something to consider?

The Bimmerworld OLOA car's OE RSMs failed and they had to be replaced during the event, IIRC.

Don't know if this helps...

The D/A shocks that we put in your car come with a new steel sleeve that
fits into the stock rubber. We then sandwich the rubber with steel
washers of the same diameter. The upper mount on this car is totally
different than the E36-E46 and there is not a monoball option.

Thanks for checking it out for me! I may just go with the OE RSMs for now. The D/A rear Konis have a larger diameter shaft than the S/A Koni I plan on using. It will be a couple months before the upgrade, so I still have some time to research it.

Charles1,

In talking to TC Kline, do they suggest the AST RSM's?
