I know you were jokin with the comment, but if regulating boards didnt have a say, they probably WOULD be running some form of variable valve timing. As far as I understand top fuelers cant run digital fuel injection, or ecus... Because the hp levels are already too outrageous.

the E60 M5 boys are doing it and successfully. now thas a high tec engine that I wouldnt call 'rice'.
