So, some of you know that I struck a great deal:

Anyway, one other dealership locally did not call me back until this morning. After a few phone calls back and fourth, they sent me an email and confirmed they would do invoice pricing!

I chose the dealership closer (< 2 miles away) for a few extra more because they have a great service department, and I know some of the people there. Basically ~$500 above invoice.

I'm not sure of the variables that contributed to this wonderful sale, but maybe because I had the wholesale price sheet handy, and my order date was not soon?

Moral of the story, if you can wait longer to pick up your baby and you have the wholesale price sheet...DO IT!

If you want to know the name of the dealership in MI, PM me and I will let you know. Basically this dealership WANTS to sell more cars and is very willing to deal.

congratulations man, i just have a question.. i'm going to be ordering an 09 in like a week, and i have no idea when its gonna be here (im kinda confused with how the shipping works) so you ordered an 09 and its coming in march, is that the wait time? or did you choose it to come in march for a set reason, thanks for the help and good luck!

Yeah, i chose to wait until march to avoid this beauty ever touching powder / salt. This is going to be my super-duper fun car.

If they place the order in Feb, you should have it by mid-late march i assume

the cars are usually at the dealers in about 30 -40 days from the build week.

I'm in Connecticut... my 135 was finished on 9/10 and got on the boat two days ago. Will be in NY on 9/28 and should be ready 4 days after that.

Just be patient, and request a delivery date in a few months where you dont consume their next allocation slot. Follow these suggestions and In my opinion, you should be able to talk price more towards your target.
