Granville Island BMW Display

Did anyone see the display of BMW's at Granville Island this weekend?

There was a gorgeous M1 there!

Wow! Only the 2nd M1 I've ever seen (the last was 20 yrs ago!).

wow, I didn't know there is a M1??
does it have the same engine as the M3?

Im gonna let someone else handle this, lol. all I am gonna say is google it and check it out! you'll be surprised what you find if youve never heard of the M1.

I've heard of M1 before but that was the old days where the M1 look like a Vette stingray.

yep thats the one, there is no M1 for the 1 series that is now in production. I was by no means trying to be an ass either, just if you hadnt seen it like I had not before I read discussions about whether there would be a M 1-series car wanted you to google it an take a look at it.

I went down there yesterday, all I seen was Fringe Festival stuff. Where was the show?

Not so much as a show more a display of a few rare BMW's.

It was there on Saturday... at the entrance to Dockside Restaurant/Hotel.

Lots of regular BMW's in the car park with Ontario plates too.

M1s are super rare. I've only ever seen one, and it was out by BC Place as I was traveling west on Pacific.
