Hey guys,

We’re going on 300 JB3s in the field now and have received a lot of great feedback. And its time to for some map updates! We are currently local testing the following changes:

1) Improved low end torque for both 29.2/v81 and pre 29.2 (1-2 psi more below 4000rpm)
2) More aggressive solenoid duty cycles to further reduce lag below 2500rpm
3) Slightly leaner air/fuel ratios on the pre 29.2 map, slightly richer on the 29.2/v81 map
4) Stronger air intake temperature boost reduction (~1psi)
5) Low boost map is more aggressive, now equal to the high boost map less 1-2psi. Making it more suitable as the primary map for those at higher altitudes, in hot weather, or on questionable fuel.

This is very cool news for those looking to tweak their cars.

Sounds great! How do you go about getting new maps though? Do you have to send in something, or is there a way to load them from your PC to that plug in module?

BMS will send out a chip which you will then have to install in the JB3. Very easy to do. Maps will be free but you will have to pay a nominal shipping charge (ie. $8-$12).

Hey guys, this is very cool, but has anyone heard of installing directly over the ECU's maps? I heard this was possible.

I've had my JB3 for a few weeks.... Best bang for the buck! Insane power gains!! Can't wait for the map updates!

I have been seeing 3-4 MPG increase running JB3 high boost map. T did a great job maximising the fuel

I've been seeing a decrease in MPGs... haha but only because I can't keep myself from going WOT all the time. lol
