Hell yeah. Gets me thinking. If a dealer is willing to let one go at $750 over invoice, it could be a pretty good deal. The only problem is, most are pretty loaded because the dealers were greedy bastards.

I beleive that you can ask your nearest dealer to check BMWs nation inventory and they may be able to ship you one in.

Yup....the 0.9% financing got me hook line and sinker......

Saturday saw the post about this financing on 2008 dealer stock cars.

Tuesday I searched the net and my local dealer happend to have the exact combo / optioned car in stock that I would have ordered.

Tuesday night I visited the dealer, met with the sales advisor and got a great invoice + deal.

Tomorrow I pick it up.

135 AW / Black Boston / Aluminum / 6MT / PP / SP / CWP

Thanks to 1addicts for the immense wealth of knowledge, facts, and details!!!!!!

0.9% financing

What are the chances the 0.9% financing will carry over to the 09 model year 1 series? If it does, it'll greatly increase the chances of me getting a 135 and doing ED as well as Performance Center delivery.

I would say the chance of getting this rate for 2009 are pretty much slim to none. These rates are so low because they want to get rid of the very few 2008s they have left. With the credit crunch these days don't be surprised if you are seeing rates in the 5.0-7.0% range from the dealer.

I went car shopping with my brother this past weekend. We visited 5 dealers, including one BMW dealer. No one had any deals on rates except for BMW and Audi, I think on 2008 models only. The rates at most other dealers were in the 6.5% range even with perfect credit.

I think at best you can expect to see 2.9% or 3.9% on 2009 1s and that is if they offer a deal on them like they were doing on 3s this year. Since it is a low-volume car, I really doubt it and 5 or 6% is more likely.

If you have good credit, you can probably get a 4.25 to 4.75% rate from a credit union but that doesn't come close to 0.9%.

Yeah 0.9% is an outstanding deal in current market. Unless 2009 1's are not selling at all I don't see them bringing the 0.9% on them before this time next year... I took advantage of it and can't be happier. Good deal and love the car...
