Question about delivery - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Hello Everyone,

I was just curious my CA said about 2 weeks ago that my car was on a boat and should arrive near the end of oct. I am just wondering do our vehicles go to the US and then o canada? Do you know if canadian cars are held up because of the CARB issue?

Hey bedouin,

Our cars land in Halifax then hop a train to make it all the way out to the prairies. No carb worries for us thankfully!

3 months? - honestly?
I would love to know your order date and delivery date (when it comes). I just ordered 2 weeks ago and I can't wait. They said ~7 weeks total - is this wrong?

I ordered on Aug 6th, and my estimated delivery date is somtime towards the end of oct. So anytime in the next 2 weeks pretty much

It was a little long because the BMW plant shuts down in august to switch from 2008 to 2009. So thats why it was a bit of a longer wait. Our cars that where ordered at the beginning of Aug really only where built in Sept. So the 7 week wait probably right.

We must have come in on the same boat, I ordered in Aug as well. I was on the Undine and my car supposedly arrived in Calgary today. You will probably get your car before me as the cars go through Edmonton by CN I believe. My car was originally estimated to be delivered early-mid November but now they've bumped it up to this month! :biggrin:

i was on fedora which arrived on the 8th, i am still sitting in Halifax....

I ordered mine in Calgary (Sept. 23) I was told mid to end of November. The wait is killing me! I wish we could track like US
