Hi Guys,

I am getting some Endless Street pads ( Low dust compound) fitted to the 135 today. I was getting really sick of the dust build up from the normal pads. I will let everyone know how they go after a week or so with them. They are suppose to give an increase in grip over the normals pads also ( we will see I guess).

Which Endless Pad is it? Racebrakes in Melbourne got the imprint of my pads and send it to Endless to create the 135i pads, so everyone around the world have us to thank for them! Lol. Endless has made a set of racing pads for our cars too. Something 20. I am waiting to hear back how much they are.

Don't worry I will be the guinea pig :-). I have had Endless pads before and loved them so I don't think I will be dissappointed.

WAY the one I am getting is called the Concept A I was told. The one that you might like is called the ME 20 ( Race pad).

The ME 20 are $550 a set RR.

No sorry,,, a set meaning $550 ( for the front two wheels) and $550 for the rear two wheels $1100 all up..

Sweet.

I had a set of Endless CCX fitted to my Subaru and they were excellent. The OEM pads were crap (unsurprisingly), they felt wooden under breaking and offered no feel.

Go for Type R material. I suspect they are as good on the track and on the road, even with semis. If not, because 135i may be too heavy, use CCX. I don't think you need MA20. That is too hardcore and you need to change pad on the track.

I just look at Endless website again. They have the MA22B now, and really if you read the Japanese the MA22B is for circuit with S tyre or Full Slick! Temp starts at 200 degree.

Wayne, what temp was your rotor when you come back to the pit lane? I remember it is 250-300 right? I may take a few lap before the rotor warms up for the pad. Definitely you cannot get 200 degree on street.

Even CCR is 150 degree minimum hmmmmm.... it may increase the wear on the street although it last long on the track.

I am a project mu man and project mu recommend 0 degree pads for street because they said even the 50 degree pads will wear out quick on the road/highway. I have a set of 300 degree pads (minimum) at home. You know what project mu said? They recommend to take the brake cooling duct out of the race car during winter

.... hehe.

I use Endless CCR with APP rotors(also made from endless) on my EVO. they work good, not that bad on street.

Nice, so you machined your disks before hand? How many kms had you done on them? How is the feel/dust?

Hi Kris,

Yeah I machined the rotors before hand. I have done about 150klms on them so far and have been taking it easy.

They felt very slippery in the beginning due to the fact the pad was new and the rotor was so smooth. They are starting to come back to me know. The pedal feels a lot firmer then the standard pad.

I will give a better report on the grip and dust build up later in the week cause I will be going to see swift. He has a great little private road course near his house.

I washed my car yesterday so give me a week to see how the dust build up goes.

Hey sorry about that,

Yeah the pads are great from the low dust perspective. I don't get anywhere near as much dust build up. The dust is also not jet black so it is not as noticeable. As far as performance increase goes it is a bit hard to say. If you are looking for a noticeable increase in braking performance these are probably not the pads for you ( then again I have not been able to test the pads endurance with repeated heavy stops).

I got my dealer to drive my car for a second opinion and he thinks the same ( the original opinion was for the SSTT, thought I would also ask what he thought of the pads). There may be an increase in braking performance however I don't feel it would be significant. It is definately not worse then the standard pad, lets put it that way.

So, how do the wheels look ? Any photos after a week? Did you get a front/rear set? I dont care about performance only dust. I'm sick of cleaning my wheels
