REQUEST: Interior pics...
I'm going to order my car in 2 weeks time I hope , and I've already selected the exterior which is Montego Blue , the interior leather will be Coral red Boston leather, what I'm not sure about is the interior trim I'm torn between "Black High-Gloss" and "Aluminum Accentuated patterning" . Does anybody have pics of these 2 trims with Coral Red interior? maybe some close ups ? your help is greatly appreciated
I got these from the BMW website visualizer , but it would be better to get real life photos what do you guys think? Edit: just to clear things this isn't the sport package its just a tab in the visualizer . I will be order the M-steering wheel this pic is just to clear up the sport thing don't look at the color choices lol |

depends on whether or not you get the sport package. If you get the sport package, the steering wheel wont have any aluminum trim which means you shouldnt get the aluminum trim on the rest of the interior. IMO

Both of those pictures say sports package and both of them are not. Like arrutled said, the steering wheel wont have the silver trim and the shifter will be black as well... may change your mind for the overall look/feel.

The black has flecks of glitter and the aluminum is cross-cut. I point this out because BMW doesn't mention it, and you can't really see it on their website. With your color combo, I'd go with aluminum.
Aluminum closeups: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12081 High Gloss closeups: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9447 Montego/Coral will get you Superman-mobile comments from the peanut gallery, but it's a good looking combo: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8926

the first one is glacier silver which comes with the sport pack , this is Aluminum up in that pic is different. BMW should put close ups on its site I would love to see a more overall pic , but a bit closer to the one BMW has ... I know tough requests btu with all the ones here I'm sure somebody will have this color combo and post some pics up |

The sports steering wheel and shifter are matte black - like black leather. I don't see how that would matter in terms of your trim. It certainly is not the same color black as the high gloss "black."
Piano black is what these cars really need, a shame BMW saves that lacquer for the individual program and then doesn't offer the program on the 1s (or in the US). Quote:

That's supposed to be sports package? It doesn't have the ///M steering wheel or the ///M shift knob.. The navi unit is also the '08 navi and not the integrated '09 unit.. just a heads up

i don't really have any significant input to offer you, except to say that my car is finally at 'my bmw center' and it is montego, coral with the aluminum trim, to me the black gloss looks a little plastic in person.

I've just entered the BMW USA site and you have "Aluminum Accentuated patterning" trim option .... so I guess there won't be anybody here with it

I have a Montego blue and I have black with Aluminum trim. I don't think the Red goes too good with the Montego IMHO.

I have AW/Coral/sport/nav 135i and love it. But in blue??? Black would be safer, but I am fairly sure blue has been done with coral and looks hot.
EspressoBoy I didn't see any nice pictures of 135 using google image finder, but here are some 335 and I think they do help. Taken from http://www.bmwblog.com/2007/06/18/bm...-red-interior/ |

Piano Black no doubt. Aluminum is getting old. CF would be better. And if one day u do wanna change em to CF, contact Dan ( UnitedBMW ) and he'll hook u up with genuine BMW CF. Dont bother getting it from the stealer, they will charge you 11,000+ Riyals without labour.
