Typical Wait Time Right Now - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Hey everybody,

I am curious to know what is a typical wait time right now? I'm hoping to have my new 135i in my possession no earlier than late January, so I'm thinking it's nearing time to order.

my ship is docking (on the 12th) two days shy of exactly six weeks from the date of my placing an order at the dealership. add another week or two before I can even take delivery. they tell you 6-8 weeks? figure it will be no less than 7.

Ordered mine oct 1st.

ship docks the 13th (nov)

dealer says I'll have it in my possession by the 25th (nov)

puts it at about 7 weeks, which reading some other threads seems a little faster than normal.

^^^ your drunk if you think that lol sorry but i ordered mine SEPT17th and still dont have it...was told a month MAX ya well things happen to slow it down...i hope u get it that quick tho

September 17th was 7 weeks ago, which agrees with what rodi and Mindgame said.

I put in an order for mine on Sept 7th, I havent even heard from the dealership since.

I had about 7 weeks between ordering and taking delivery, the wait is usually shorter on the east coast though.

I ordered mine on Oct. 25, and my CA put it in as Priority 1, pirating the last one they had scheduled for their inventory. He said it would be mine by early/mid January if it didn't get bumped up because it was now P1. By the middle of the next week it was scheduled for production. I stopped in yesterday (11/5), and he told me it was at Production Code 150, and I would have it before Christmas.

This is my first time ordering from BMW, but it sounds to me like its time to plop down some cash if you can't get (or don't want) P1.

Just talked to the dealer today, and apparently I should have it in 2 1/2 weeks.

Mine has been at the dock for almost two weeks. Is that normal? I called BMW NA and they had no info as to when it will be transported to my dealer. What could take so long?
