boost gauge needed---LAG

i read tons and tons on people talking about the LAG issues with certain software and ECUs.....how many of you have noticed a change with a boost gauge? its one thing to "feel" lag and another to actually see it..im about to order my boost gauge before i do any modding what so ever(all of you should have done the same before any modding) a boost gauge is one of the best things you can buy for any turbo or supercharged car....im still in the breaking in period so i dont really get on the car that much...after breaking in im putting in the boost gauge and will DOCUMENT how the car is stock...when it starts to spool in which gear and what RPMS...this will be done completely stock...then i might tinker with a tune...i have no idea which one yet cuz there is so many and im worried about my ECU detecting it...
