I'm stoked with how it all turned out for my first competitive rally. Here's a summary:

- 1st driver on handicap
- 1st driver class B
- 1st driver rookie
- 8th driver outright

- 2nd crew on handicap
- 1st crew rookie
- top ten crew outright (I think somewhere between 7th and 9th)

- 7 event wins (non-RS classes A,B,C,D combined)

I'll post up some photos once I've had a chance to sort through everything.

Here we go:

Parked outside the motel in Goulburn with sponsor stickers on

My co-driver Mark laying out some cones for a tricky motorkhana. Didn't do us much good as I still stuffed one of them lol...

Fairbairn Park Hill climb

800m sprint at Goulburn Airport - I don't know how they land planes on this thing, very uneven ground!

Wakefield sprints - just one of the gt porsches - you should have seen the gt2!

Rain approaching fast!!

Oran Park GP
You could hear the supercharger on this thing from pit lane when it came onto the straight!

Some nice guys in an r32 Golf - sounded awesome!

Awesome Lotus 211 - had Ohlins, launch control etc etc and it revved hard!

I was talking to this nice guy whilst watching a motorkhana. Didn't ask him what car he was driving. Next day I turn up at Oran Park and he is the dude in the 360 Challenge Stradale - oh the sound....

Some nice BMW hardware...

All done - car was faultless and not a scratch on it!

Anxiously checking results on the final day...

Trophies waiting for presentation

My trophy collection (less two they are posting due to incorrect labels). Might have to build a pool room lol...

Very well done! I would love to enter my little polo gti into Dutton, really enjoy motorkhana style events.

Said it earlier in the thread, but the autopida sponsor decals on your car looked really great! Once again, well done!

Jeff is our most successful racer on 1Addicts so far. Bravo! Get some power upgrade next year and show them how it's done Jeff. I might join you in the Victorian one if you are coming.

I'll come down and co-drive yours! Should be a fair bit quicker than mine and probably still even in the same class.

Hey that isn't such a bad idea! If I can't get any Carrera Cup or Bathurst winners on board as mentioned on the other forum that is. Your CV is in my drawer for review.

Kudos Jeff. Very well done! And thanks for posting those beautiful pictures. Incidentally, what was your favourite car out there apart from your own?

I really liked the Lotus 211 and the 360 Stradale, they were two of the best sounding (and loudest!) cars there.

Dude, I can guarantee you that you are a faster driver than me in motorkhana! I can remember the courses and will never do well in that! On other stuff I may give you a run for your money. This is why I need a Carrera Cup winner or Bathurst winner. No one would expect me to ever be faster than them.

The thing with the Dutton is you need to be quick in all types of events - particularly ones that you can't practice / haven't seen before.

Every event counts (even your 1st go when you get two goes at something). Being quick around the circuits you know won't do anything for you because it'll only be 2 or 3 out of 30+ events. Basically you need to be a good allrounder, consistently quick and not make any mistakes.

Not sure that being a Bathurst winner or Carrera Cup champ would be the best training ground for it either.
