I'm new here, currently living in germany, and just wanted to show off my new 08 123d

The car already came with the full M-Package and a nice list of options. I've had it for two months now...

Here's a quick mod list:

Staggered Offset LM's 19" with 225/255 Hankook Evo S1's
H&R Coilovers
Black Kidneys
Evotech Software (253hp / 500Nm Torque)

Not pictured: Hamann Splitters (see sig), gloss black diffusor.

Coming up: PP Sideskirts, and hopefully some 135 brake calipers...

Welcome and Wow! that thing looks awesome. 19" LM's lowered. Nice tint and splitters. Great mod setup man! That model is not sold in the states but I would not be surprised if it comes over in the very near future. Maybe as the hatchback too... the 335d will be here next year I believe. If you do the calipers, red would look awesome. I'd love to check out some interior pics too if you got um:w00t:

This may sound like a "noob" question but im not a noob just havent researched the 123d much but reading ur name "EvilDiesel" is the 123d a diesel engine BMW?

In Europe the 1 Series sell with 3 diesel engines.

The 118d (only sells as hatch)

The 120d has a single turbo and puts out 174 HP and 258 foot pounds and does 59 mpg combined and 0-62 in 7.6

The 123d has a twin turbo and puts out 201 HP and 295 foot pounds and does 54 mpg and 0-62 in 7.0

Comes in 3 and 5 door hatch as well as coupe.

All the diesels are 2 ltr

500Nm? Gief! We need something to get an upper hand now that M-B is bringing it's 250CDI with 204hp/500Nm.
Evotech's site doesn't recognize 123d tho (yet) :iono:

But that's a neat looking beast there congrats

. Got any pics of the entrails? Anything special there?

just to answer some of your questions:

-yes it's a diesel
-stock output is 204hp and 400Nm
-stock 0-60 is around 6.7seconds according to most german mags
-there are several different companies that now have software available for this car. the power figures go anywhere from 240-270hp. With 450-520Nm Torque.
-I get around 7.5L per 100Km's

The only thing I miss is the sound of an inline six, other than that, this car is a lot of fun... especially on the autobahn

The inside is still stock, but it has the full M-Package with the upgraded stereo, automatic climate control and a bunch of other little things that all cost extra in germany...

haha... yea, i'm sure I've pissed of a bunch of GTI drivers when I passed them on the autobahn, and used half as much gas

I'm gonna try to post some pics of the new mods this weekend.. I've changed a couple of things...

yep my stock 123d E82 follows the gti mkV on topspeed 5 (245 Kmh on the garmin gps). No slipstream

The vw driver was not happy

Mhh..... just a tuned one. The R32 got more Competition with an 130i.
But if you got the 123d chipped (240-250 PS), then youre right

very nice mods Evil..I had always wished they would bring the hatch to NA but to no avail. Your mods are aggressive yet simple..

That's great power for D Engine. Europeons have really got around the high cost of fuel issues. I suspect we'll get more D Engines once the cost of fuel goes through the roof!
