Can I Store BlackBerry Phone Book - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

I have an 09 135 with iDrive. I can't seem to find a way to simply store my entire Blackberry adress book. Each time I enter the car with my Blackberry the Blue Tooth pairs, good thing, it then downloads my complete address book,good thing, but it takes about 5 mins, a bit annoying. Anyone know of a way to store once the data has been downloaded from my BB to the car contact list?

Hmmm, it shoiuld only sync ther changes. Mine takes maybe a minute uopon start up. Think you have something wrong. Ask dealer.

It could be that I have over 1500 contacts....still you would think that you should be able to store and then sync changes on demand....

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the way the sync works. I have about 600 or so contacts on my phone. Every time I hop in the car it takes a minute or three for my phone list to be available. It is kind of annoying but oh well. If it really is just searching for changes than it searches very slowly...and you would think the original stored list would be available until that process is finished.

I have 400ish contacts and it always works straight away. I have the low end business radio, not sure if that makes a difference?
