I'm the owner... and actually the wheels fit perfectly now. I just installed Eibach springs but no pics yet. Wheels sit just inside the fender now when you look at it from the front (or back).

I know US owners don't usually like the stretched look but that's the way I like it and a lot of people in Europe like it too: "German style"

I'll post pics of the Eibachs soon, it's dark now and -15°C / snowy so I don't feel like taking any pics

Especially when you look at the photo taken from the rear, you can see that with just a little more camber the wheels will just about fit the arches, and that's what happened now with the Eibachs and some adjustments

I do think BMW could've made it easier, they really missed the boat there, true!

Mine too. It looks terrible. White crap all over it. Hate that there is salt all over my paint.

That sounds like a good plan. Plenty of 1ers here and will be easier to get people in summer. When are you coming over?

True. Belgium is probably the most central place to do it. There might be a few UK 1ers interested also. I'll start planning it when I get back from my nice warm vacation in Australia in February :biggrin:

Not quite. We had 7 1ers and one M3 at our meet at Bear Mnt a few months back. Not sure what the biggest meet for the 1 series is though.

Last one arrived little bit later and isn't visible on the group photo.
