Age bracket: Aussies only please
Hey guys, just generally wondering what the general age demographic is of Aussie 1addict members...
Apparently BMW Aus were expecting their demographic for the 125i/135i to be 30-40 age bracket "BMW is aiming the 135i Sports Coupe, and its cheaper stablemate, the 125i Coupe at a younger demographic. BMW spokesman Toni Andreevski says that the 135i will predominantly be bought by men aged between 30 and 40 who are on higher than average incomes." (http://www.drive.com.au/Editorial/Ar...eID=51450&vf=1) Will be interesting to see if this generally is indeed the case... are there any Aussie female 1addict members yet? |

Should have made the poll only for actual 1 owners? And maybe have a different option if you purchased a 135 or a 125 or 120? Be interesting to see if the under 30's bought 135's or not.
I turn 27 in Feb, ordered my 135i a couple months back... Still waiting.... |

I'm smack bang in the middle of the target demographic, in all respects. But more importantly, I'm stunned by the number of under 30s who can afford a 1er AND the insurance premiums! I can tell you for sure that there wasn't a snowballs chance in hell that I could have swung it at the same age.

28 here.
If it wasnt for the price and performance of the 135i, I wouldnt have bothered with owning any thing from BMW. I feel most cars form BMW, Audi, Mercedes are geared to the more mature ie "older" people and so do not gather much interest from me. Accept for models such as M3, RS4, AMG series etc. |

The insurance on a 1er is cheap compared to other performance cars that are typically driven by under 25 year olds e.g. 200sx, WRX...
