Injen Dual Cone Intake Dyno Tested.. +10whp..

We got a chance today to install the Injen Dual Cone Intake.. We didnt give it much chance to adapt, we just thru it up on the dyno after a couple 3-4gear pulls.. We took the highest Stock # vs. the Injen.. Look beyond the peak #'s and youll see as much 18-19hp thru the upper powerband.. The reason there is no TQ is because we werent going to pull the valvecover to dyno it and then after we switched the intake we decided we wanted to see what the TQ was..

Injen does more than just evo products; they have products for many cars. i have to say, i expected these results from a good company like injen. the uninformed people will say "yeah, but the BMS intake is only $120!!" - the BMS intake is two filters....this is a real intake.

I don't think the plenum has shipped out yet.. or maybe its shipping out today.. once people get the full system it will be dynoed...I cant wait to see the numbers of the RR intake compared to the injen.. I had injen on my Acura TSX and it was great...

That is an awesome looking intake. I have an Injen on my Lancer and I love it. The only thing I would not like about that intake would be having to cover it when washing the engine bay. But I'm sure a plastic bag would solve that problem.

Grats to Injen on having the first Intake I've actually seen convincing dyno results from.

One question, is there some sort of scoop system helping air get into that or does it just kind of flow up off of the rad?

I did a dyno with the RR intake and I had a 22 hp increase up to 350 whp and a huge increase in torque I will have to search for the thread but the Riss intake put up big gains for me and that is without the plenum but I did cut my original and extend it so I have the effect of the injen design now.

RR at a 22whp gain on dyno? Injen looks like nice gains, I might consider switching as I have the BMS.

Wow, didn't see that thread, thanks. That was with a tune? I might have to pick up the RR intake.
