Had no issues when I got my Maxi Cosi (used Ebay ex Germany).

Costs - Shipping is expensive.... Get some quotes from the various places

Here is the maxi cosi Priorfix for 9kg + :

Cannot find the recaro isofix on ebay as of yet.

Seems alot of $ and effort to get a baby seat. What is all the fuss about maxi cosi or recaro seats
Why not just buy some Australian baby seat?

Could someone please list benefits of this?

The original point of this thread is rear facing seats not what you are after - pretty much all front facing seats should fit in a 135i.

Maxi cosi Cabriofix is worth every cent as it fits perfectly, is the safest seat in the world and fits onto the popular brands of strollers.

You are really going to struggle with a 135i and ADR approved rear facing seat. The top strap will make life hard to get it in and out easily and the capsules here are much bulkier and the stollers that fit them are much larger than a Quinny Zapp or Bugaboo Bee - they will be an issue to fit in a 135's boot along with shopping and baby supplies. Convertable seats fit easily (tried one) but getting into the back seat to take them in and out would suck.

Recaro front facing seats - they are cool and of a much higher quality than the Safe N Sound stuff avaliable here. Cost to me is a minor issue, frig we are driving BMW's here not Kia's!!!
