So I went ahead and did the silver mirror caps on my jet black 135i and I think it looks pretty good, ties the wheel color in vs all black and silver rims- was going to do the lower front grill bits and the diffuser in TIAG too, but I may just leave it as is, what do you guys think?

Not a fan.. White would have looked cooler imo.. But, if it was me i would stay all Black.

I think you should've went darker on the wheels and left the mirrors alone, personally. If you're happy with it tho...

I would definitely agree. White would look nice and would also have that mini trendster appeal but you would also need more white parts

Didn't want the white because it's too mini. I'm still contemplating painting the lower grills and diffuser- would look pretty much like this http://www.mwerks.com/gallery.html?c...=5;img=006.jpg though I don't think I'd do the kidneys. Ideally I'd like a set of OX Alleggeritas in Orange with orange mirror caps, I don't want black rims because I've been there done that on the e46 and wanted something different, I'll probably get tired of them fast and take them off anyway.

Yeah, I have to agree that white would've looked better. Or even chromed might've been good, too. Not feeling the TiAg.

you shouldnt replace the chrome grill... put them back if you want to stay those silver caps..

They look ok. But isn't it a bit too Audi? I mean they do the silver mirror caps on all of their S and RS models i think its a cool touch, but not on a BMW.

Wow... definitely not liking that at all. I can see the black mirror caps on other colors but this just does not work at all. It looks like someone broke your mirrors and you are just borrowing some extra mirrors from a friend with a TiAg car until your new ones come in.

I think they're just plain okay. I'd go for them on a light colored car, but on a dark car like yours, I'd just go for black carbon fiber covers.
