You can get a DMS automotive re map for $2500 which gives 270 kw and 500nm--seems much better value

Still too much money, JB3 is the way to go I think.

Just out of interest, does anyone know how much the BMW performance exhaust costs???

Who does the DMS tune? - that seems like a great value deal for that sort of mumba. What do they do to car beside fiddle with ECU map? how long does it take ? does it take away the smoothness or feel even better? what sort of 0-100 and 1/4 mile improvement? lots of questions sorry, just a bit excited by another tuning option rather than waiting for the stock BM solution ...

I'm in Melbourne ...

Posted on another thread where I calculated it to cost A$2300 landed at the time based on still being able to get one from Dan at United BMW in the USA at US$690. The rest was the freight costs to get it here.

Thanks for that - still unsure if aftermarket or BMW exhaust is best.

JB3 no doubt best way to go in terms of $ value. BMW should be making this standard on the 35i versions of all cars to keep ahead of competition in my opinion.

That's what I was thinking; I've never done an ecu flash to a car before.
