I've read the owner's manual but am still puzzled. Every time a full size adult sits in the passenger seat the airbag deactivation warning light comes on, but only if they are in the seat at start-up. If they sit down after I start the car the light stays off. The airbag symbol on the dash lights up and goes out at start-up like it's supposed to. WTF?

Oh, and the stupid gong that goes off every time I put something heavier than a magazine on the seat is driving me nuts.
