Gloss Black or Matte Black?

Just as it says. I can't decide between gloss black or matte black letters for my 135i. Its SGM and the chrome badge actually bothers me. Please vote and add pictures if you have them.

you really wont be able to tell much anyway, but i choose gloss since it matches the shadowline trim...

I think if you have the shadowline trim to match it to go with gloss black...

it does matter. every little piece of glossy black accent makes the paint around it appear much richer and deeper. my car looks so much deeper with hyperblack rims, and I have a shadowline vert. do the glossy.

no option for debadge? I prefer chrome over black, but I'm also lame and don't like black rims even though it seems to be a popular trend lately. i must be getting old and out of touch or something.

i went with matte but only because my car is black and i wanted a little contrast but since your car is SGM i'd go with gloss

I like debadging. But its not really for me. I want the letters from Bimmian. I'm just torn.

Thank You. You do too

Do you have a straight black top, or moonlight?

Do you have pics of your wheels? I am considering black for the first time....

To the OP--where can you get the glossy black badging letters? Thanks in advance.

Since I have AW, the right touches of black here and there really set the white off.....

Black top. I got one of the first convertibles made so I only saw moonlight in pics. It looked great in the pics, but I couldn't take a chance on it not looking the same in person. What did you get?

BTW, I remember my time in upstate NY (Rochester). While I miss the people I do not miss the snow.

I have moonlight. I was the same way as you though. I originally ordered an SGM vert with a black top. But that car got destroyed in shipping.
My CA got on the computer and searched my car's options. Found the exact same car as mine, but with one difference (moonlight black top). Being as this was early august, a new build was out of the question. I said I really love SGM and I bought the car. Got it a week and a half later.

It is so much better in person than in pictures, especially at night.

Thanks for the pic. They look nice.

I guess those aren't as "black" as I thought they might be. I was thinking they might look similar to the shadowline trim....like a dark, glossy black. Something of this nature would look better on my AW I think....
