Yeah Ryan, that was short!!!

My friend Pat takes his porsche group on the below route... have you been on these roads? From what I understand coming back south is pretty steep.

blood mountain, yep.

D, i've been that route a couple months ago... going up 19 to 180, turning around and going back down 19, then going up 60 to Suches (was behind a slow bike and couldn't pass anywhere), up 180 (there was absolutely NO one on this road), and then back down 19. i was all by myself.
this time, we just went up 19 to blood mountain and then back down.

yeah, it was short notice. we were entertaining some French clients, and thought to take them up there on their last day. it was me in my 1, my buddy in his 997 911, and then a jeep rubicon. good times. (oh, and if you're interested, a dinan s2 135i can pass a chipped 997 carrera on the straights, and keep close behind on the curves). ;]
always ready to go back. just say the word. any time.

oh, yeah: we hiked to the top of blood mountain when we got there. it was freezing and fogged in at the top:

Sounds like a blast. I haven't had the chance to take my 1 up to the mountains.

How are the cops up there?

Typical... a lot of them refuse to stay in the proper lane too. (yeah I know that sounds like im such a goodie-goodie, but they really aren't careful).
