question about ramp or jack

Hi guys, I am going to do a DIY oil change tomorrow, I am thinking to get the ramp, but i don't know if anyone has any issue driving up to the ramp from autozone, i am not sure if our car is too low for it. do you guys think i can just pick up the ramp and get this done? or do i need to get jack stands. it'll be helpful if someone has a picture of the car on ramp so i can see how high the car gets lifted.

I did an oil change last weekend using the standard Rhino ramps. It was close but worked. The black rubber flaps at the front touched the ramps going up but the bumper itself cleared it. I was a fairly easy job even though it was kind of tight getting under the car. The splash shield sits fairly low. I bought a 2" PVC elbow at home depot to direct the flow of oil from the drain opening and I was glad I did. The drain opening cover is small and a lot of the oil would have ended up on top of the splash shield. Have fun.

A cardboard flap off a beer carton did the trick for me. You do need something to prevent exessive oil spillage.

I use a jack to lift the car onto the ramps.

I just bought a set of ramps last week. They are made of plastic/composite. They have a gradual rise and the car drives up on them fine. You can even remove the ramp part after the car is driven up on the flat part to get behind the front wheels. Joe’s a North West sporting goods/Auto accessories store is going out of business and they were $16.00.
