My I-Drive restarted loosing all saved settings - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

Yes, As I refueled my car today and was walking to the shop to pay, I kept pressing the lock button to close my sunroof. I have 09 i-drive with prof nav. and comfort access.
After returning to my car my radio station was set to 87,5 all my favorite buttons were deleted, volume settings deleted navigation didn't work.
I tried switching the car on and off, locking it and than trying the second key (back home) but no help...
The worst part is that I can't even get into the navigation menu and my pdc is so loud now and I can't reduce the volume by any means...

i guess I have to go to bmw and have it checked by them...

Anybody had similar issue?
I have to say I'm perfectly happy with the car and did over 10k miles on it and didn't have a single issue with anything.

CTL+ALT+DEL

sorry about that - hopefully they can resolve it quick and get your saved settings back as well. (without new input)

Mine did that. I put in my settings again, except for a few. The next day, all my old settings came back. Strange.

Did you switch key? Each key has it's own associated settings.

For me, this incident happened with the same key.

I tried both keys and ALL settings were deleted. The worst part is that the nav doesn't work, my car is in the service now and hopefully they will resolve thew issue
