New Member and new 135i Vert

Been reading all the interesting and informative posts now for the last 2 weeks ever since I picked up my 135i M Sport Convertible. My daily driver is an 08 X5 3.0si, hence my username. I have been driving the X5 for a year now and on its birthday decided to add something for the weekend. Time to share - Specs are:

135i M Sport Convertible
Automatic with Gear Shift Paddles
Silver with black boston leather
Tint
Business Navigation
Heated Electric Memory Seats
Sports Seats
Bi Xenon Headlights
Front and rear PDC
Wind Deflector
USB

I am in love with the car and its power! The running in period is so difficult as there is so much power there, it feels like a caged animal. Only 1100km on the clock so far, picked it up with 11km. Halfway there! I have also posted a pic of my daily drive. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Welcome!! That 1er looks so sharp without the ambers. The X5 is a very nice ride as well. I love how wide the rear tires can come from the factory.

Congrats, love the colour but I may be biased. Did you get the black top or the moonlight? It looks black to me.

Yes it is black top. I was really tempted to get the silver effect top but was worried about fading after a few years and then it might look patchy. Nothing to substantiate this on just pure guessing, so decided to play it safe and stuck with black top.

Actually, with the moonlight top any potential patchiness is hidden by the pattern it has. Either way I'm sure you won't have a problem.

You missed out on moonlight. But it looks great. Congrats on the great 1er.
