You JUST missed the boat if it's heading for West Coast. TURANDOT departed 6/16. - It docked in South Hampton for a bit and is heading toward Panama.

congrats man, mine should be delivered to me in im hoping a weeks time frame. the boat will take about 19-20 days to get to port hueneme assuming it doenst have to make a stop

Mine was built on June 15th and is also waiting at port to get on the ship. It'll be coming to California as well!

Hey guys sorry if I sound like a big dummy, but I just got my production number it's scheduled for a week 30 build and just wondering where I need to go to track the status online.

bmwusa.com - create an account and you can add your production # so that you can track it. Though you shoudl ask for the dealer to give you the VIC (Vehicle ID number) - that's a more accurate gauge

there's a sticky post above that'll tell you how to track - You can even call an 800 number to follow up on status.

Norcal 135, I found out my car is on a ship called the Volans Leader on its way to California. Do you know if you're on this ship too?

That is indeed the ship that my car is on. The ship is currently crossing the Atlantic - its next port of call is Jacksonville on July 6. According to my dealer, it is due in Port Hueneme on July 19, then figure 7 days for customs, trucking to SF and PDI. BTW - let me know if you are able to find more info about the ship schedule - there is not a lot of info on line about this particular ship's itinerary.

Congrats! I've been only waiting 4 days and it hurts. I bet it hurts more when it gets closer to delivery. How did you find out about when it was "born"?

Call 1-800-831-1117 and you will get a lot more information about your car than you will through bmwusa.com

For those of you who have a car on the Turandot, it just went through the Panama Canal today. It is scheduled to dock in LA at 11 pm 7/10. For me, it will be another week before arriving in Portland. I am glad I am traveling, it will distract me.
