High Gloss Black vs Carbon Fiber Grill

What does everyone think would look better for a 135i Lemans Blue with Shadowline Trim...High Gloss or Garbon Fiber Grill?

I am thinking if you add CF Spoiler then Carbon Fiber Grill would look better, if you dont then High Gloss Matches the Shadowline Trim...

Thoughts? Also anyone have pictures of Le Mans with CF/Gloss Grill?

Oh and does anyone have a picture of Le Mans blue with CF Roundels?

All I'm gonna say is, if you go with High Gloss, stick with High Gloss for everything. I you want to take the Carbon route, do CF for everything.

Yeah but if I do CF Spoiler & CF Grill wont the Shadowline Trim look out of place?

Same for the reserve, if I do High Gloss Grill and CF Spoiler wont CF Spoiler look out of place with the Shadowline & Grill?

Between the two, I would do gloss black. Unless you have a CF theme on the car, it will look out of place. With that said, it looks like you are planning on a CF hood and lip so that would tie in well. In the end, Matte Black is my favorite by far though.

Bah! I need pictures lol....

I am definetly going to do CF spoiler, already will have shadowline trim from M-Sport, so really the big question mark is the grill, just dont know...

I wont be adding anything else except maybe Shadow 135i Emblem...

Also has anyone consider doing the Blue Carbon Fiber Roundels? I would never do normal Carbon Fiber emblems because that changes the color of logo completely (eleminates the propeller blades in the sky) but these blue ones keep the color and may look nice

I have to get the spoiler because I think the 135's rear looks weird without a spoiler

Has there ever been someone with a CF trim instead of shadowline or silver/chrome trim?

I think that would be a bit too much IMHO.

I am actually considering those for my car. I have the montego blue/red theme on the car and I think it would go well.

We stock the Bimmian roundels so I am going to play around with it and see what I think.

Here are some images from my vehicle, I have the shadowline grills. They look awesome and I would not swap them out for the matt black or CF ones. I think the CF ones look pretty bad actually. I also have my rear diffuser painted shadowline along with mirror caps with the CF spoiler.

I considered painting the CF spoiler shadowline black but after puttin it on I really like the way the CF blended together with the diffuser and my gunmetal wheels.

I had some better pictures of the CF spoiler mirror caps and diffuser but can not find them, will post additional pics for you to see once I can locate my camera. I also ended up debadging the 135 emblem, after adding the diffuser and Cf spoiler I was not happy with the chrome gloss or matte black emblems.

I was on the fence about this as well, hence why I wanted to paint it shadowline black to match the rest of my black/blue theme but after putting it on I was extremely satisfied with how it looked. Really not a big fan of CF but it flows very well with the rest of the car

I cant find my digital camera, I hope I didnt loose it. But as soon as I find it I will post up some better pics of the spoiler and shadowline diffuser

Yea, the shadowline is a glossy black color, but BMW calls it shadowline. There may be a slight color difference if at all.

The shadowline diffuser is available from Gravity Auto and cost $175. It's supposed to be a fairly easy DIY.

Hmm not sure i like the shadowline diffuser (atleast the one on Gravity Auto) it looks too shiny more shiney then Shadowline Trim & Grills...

Maybe ill end up doing CF Spoiler, CF Grills & CF Diffuser, to keep the CF theme
