Sounds like this has to be on my shopping list... So far I feel stock 135i is too much understeer at low speed tight corners...
Does the stiffer body chassie giving extra stress to the tyres?

Garage List
2009 135i Coupe  [0.00]
how does this affect the ride in general? does it only make a difference when cornering, or does it stiffen the car up in general (so that you feel more bumps)?

Nice one Swift!
There must be some downside I guess though... How's the ride now? With stock suspension, when I turn into my tight uphill driveway, the inside rear wheel unloads & spins. I imagine this would be worse with heavier bars. Regardless I think I may be keen for these. I may have to pop around get you to take me for another drive I can also check out your new 630d again too!

In straight line the ride is no different but if you hit a bump mid corner you get more of a jolt than normal but it doesn't seem to upset the cars progress. Tim you're welcome to take it for a spin and any other 1érs are welcome.

Swift - thanks for the review - very interesting reading. Have you noticed any difference in the handling in the wet? I'm assuming that changing the stiffness of the roll bars would change the weight transfer characteristics???

Normally the DSC light is going crazy at lower speeds through these corners but it flashed considerabely less tonight even though its 10 deg outside and the tyres (Conti contact 3's) were just warm. Good times!
Great review, and i'm glad you are happy with your car now.

Thanks for the compliments.
