the BEST would be my 330Cic but the most fun car to drive that I have owned was my 2006 Cooper S.

My 99 Civic Si / EBP!, but this would be second to my 2001 IS300 with numerous mods including a SRT II turbo kit. That car was awesome.

It is carbon fiber...I probably wouldn't do the paint scheme again, but hey - ya learn!

The car I drove in high school - my mother's 1973 Buick Century with the big bench seat in front and the big rear seat ...oh, did you mean favorite car to drive - that would be my 135!

My e92 is the best but the next one was my 06 GTO, if I didn't lose that thing in a flood I would still have it. Next would be my 04 M3.

Used to have a blown 05 Mustang GT...I miss it a lot. The car pumped out nearly 500 to the wheels and laid the smackdown on a lot of much more expensive sports cars running around

The absolute best car I ave ever owned was my 1990 E30 BMW M3.
There will never be another.
However, my current 135i Vert comes close. It is the 2nd best car I have ever owned.

I have to say it is the 135. There is something about it. But my old e36 will always hold a very special place.

objectively speaking, my e46 coupe, I haven't run across many, if any, cars built like the e46.

subjectively speaking, my 2002 modded mustang gt, there was just something about that one.

overall though, my 135i!!! because it combines all the niceties of the e46 with all the power and might of the mustang, with a build quality somewhere in between

This was tough as I've gone through too many, but I have to say, my old G35 was the most reliable car I ever owned, it handled nicely stock, and was fairly peppy (although very light on torque )

My e46 M3 was a great car, although a bit slower than I expected with the SMG.

My 2000 S4 was probably the funnest modded car I had as it was very easy to modify.

My current 09 135 is a great car, but I hate the reliability factor of this car with a passion.

2011 BMW 135i  [0.00]
my family's first BMW, a brand new 2001 530iA. My mom drove that for 6 years and 85000 miles with barely an issue. We had to pry it out of her hands when the alternator went. She's had 2 E65s and now an F01 since then, so she's happy. But she still talks about her 5. That car is the reason I think we'll always have an E39 in the family. We had a CPO 2000 528i while we had the 530 and now we have an E39 M5 in Carbon Black/Caramel with 44k on it,

e39 widely regarded as among the top BMWs ever, and by it's owners present and past as probably the best ever, can't disagree with you on this one. I've never had one but I live in a pretty nice area and there are still people holding onto these guys don't think the current 5 does anything for them.

After 7 Audis, and a few VW's, I can honestly say my 135i is the best car I have ever owned, I love this car

My 128i vert is the nicest car I have owned but "best" is hard to define. Most fun? Most reliable? Lowest cost transportation?

My Fiat 124 spyder was very fun but also very unreliable. It's replacement was a Ford Festiva. Might have been an over reaction but it was completely reliable, never broke in 80K miles, and consistently got over 40 mpg. Cheapest transportation I've had. But a cheap economy car is not so much fun.

My first car was a 66 mustang. Even handicaped by a 6 cylinder, it was fun. And it was reliable. But best??

I am on my second Suzuki SUV. I gave my first to my son after driving it 9 years and doing no repairs (just gas, tires, brakes (once), and changing transmission and rear end fluid). My son got 3 more years out of it and replaced a water pump - I don't know if it even needed it. My second is a 2006 and a much better vehicle. It has been completely reliable. I will keep it to avoid too many back-and-forth-to-work miles on my 128 and because I need it to put the boat in the water. The first SUV was too underpowered to be "best". The second is a canidate but it has shims burried under a complex two length intake system and a oil filter in a nasty location so I don't think it can be "best".

There were also several company cars but they were just family sedans. OK but not "best".

Too early to be sure but so far I would say my 128i is "best" but after less than a month I can't say that for sure. If it doesn't have any nasty traits, it will definitely be my "best".

Jim

Long ago and far away, a 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro. Lots of fun in the rain in the mountains of North Carolina! The 135i kills it in lots of ways, but it was a solid machine.

1967 1602 4MT and extremely underpowered...but produced the biggest smiles I've ever experienced while driving!

I enjoyed it so much, I drove too spirited and made a fire extinguisher go off in it, HA!
