I was at the local dealership the other day and test drove a 2009 135i.

Anyways, this car has been on the lot for a while I would say and is an early 09 build as it has the "Year 1 of the one" ring around the push start. Apparently the car had been misplaced and recently found on one of the back lots. The car has 700+ miles on it and I'm trying to figure out what a fair price would be.

I was thinking definitely under invoice, but just not sure how much. Any input would be appreciated.

offer 36.7k... its a demo, I bet they just selling it as misplaced, in reality everyone on test drives ripped it hard.

Exactly. I test drove it and went pretty hard on it and I'm a fairly tame driver, so it wouldn't surprise me if the mileage put on there weren't easy miles. I'm planning on a lease so it doesn't bother me too much, I just want to see what kind of price would be reflective of the car.

Would it be wise to go lower than 36K? With a demo I feel like I should be getting a fairly substantial discount to make it worth it.

Definitely. Just a matter of what a fair price to be firm at is. I don't want to go in there with unrealistic expectations and waste both our time.
