If that Cayman had the same launch as the 135i it would have won hands down.

Got to disagree here. The 135i driver miss-shifted 2-3 gear. If he hadn't there's no way the Cayman would of got past until the 135i hit the limiter.

I concur, I have raced my neighbour in his cayman S and in a straight line. I am a car lenght at least in front. Probably a different story on the track....

Very weird competition. The driving looked completely sloppy. Sometimes it looked like the cars were going from a slow roll, other cars launched. The 1er driver either missed a gear or was trying to double-clutch for some reason.

This is entertaining if not informative. However, I like my sports cars to have superior handling ratings too. I'd like to see those comparisons on a bunch of twisties - wouldn't you?

Different story against the new cayman s with pdk, with launch control, hp bump, I believe in all it shaved off .2 of a second to a 0-60 to 4.6s

135i would outgun any of them in a straight line. Even more so with better tires. Then you have to think about how cheap and easy it is to get power on the I6 TT!

The driving on that show is always sloppy or at the very least, inconsistent. It's entertainment with a little information sprinkled in - don't ever take the results too seriously.
