Broken Exhaust Hanger

So I was getting my car detailed yesterday, and noticed that my exhaust was hanging ~2" low and that I could see more of the muffler than usual. Broken exhaust hanger, no idea how!

Yes - get it fixed - you don't want it falling off or causing more damage.

I had the exact same problem about half year ago, and it might be because of the shock from bumpy road. Happily however, this could be fixed in dealer for 20 min. They told me the nut that holds hanger was missing, btw.

Just looked under the car. There is a bolt that's clearly missing. I looked it up, it is: Torx-bolt with washer, ASA M8X25, 51217062145, $1.70. Just going to order it myself and put it on. Dealer has no appointments for 2 weeks.

Can't get exhaust on car, its leased.

QUICK QUESTION FOR ALL

If I buy the BMW perf exhaust, can I leave it on when I turn in my lease? (I wouldn't do this, I'd just sell it, but I was just curious if anyone has done this (i.e. install OEM BMW Perf parts and returned a lease w/ the parts installed?)
