AFE Dual Intake

Sup Dudes,

I was checking out the dual cold air intake just now and I had to check with the pros if the lack of a cover on the filter makes it easier for the cold air intake to take in water when it rains..

I am running the aFe DCI with the Vorsteiner Vented Hood and it does not get moisture in there. The factory hood is completely sealed and the Vorsteiner hood lets in a marginal amount of moisture but is not near where the intake sits. Even on the E46 where the vents are located right above the intake, it was never an issue. You have to really submerge the intake in a bucket of water for any hope of hydrolocking the engine.
