4-18" wheels fit in the back of a 135i coupe ?

My friend found a set of used wheels in New Jersey that hes very interested in buying for his 20th anniversary edition vw GTI. They are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 Mercedes Benz Brabus Monoblock Vi's. We are going on a mini vacation next weekeend to NYC and thought well why dont we run over to New Jersey and pick them up. Only problem is we are going to be in my 135i. I'm just wondering if we could possibly fit them in the back with the seats folded down. The wheels have tires mounted on them as well. Has anybody had to fit 4 wheels in their 135i and if so can it be done lol

Yup. Just fold the seats down and stand 3 of them on the tread, side by side. Stick the fourth in the trunk lying flat.

They'll fit. Just ask forum mumber "white911." I've seen him at Summit Point Raceway with 4 track tires/wheels in the back.

I did 2 in the front seat and 2 in the back so I assume it will work.

That's good to know. Anyone know if they will fit in a 'vert where the rear seats don't fold?

I didn't fold my seats to store my 4. I had them in tire totes, and put 1 on front seat, 1 on front seat floor, and 1 on each back seat.

I use tire totes in my coupe, and fit 4 fatty mounted racing tires in the back seat. They just fit. Btw, it is not possible to fit more than one in the trunk.

I think the only way you'll fit 4 in a vert, is one in the trunk, two in the back seat and one in the passenger seat up front.

i would put each tire in those black contractor bags, to keep the seats clean.

I do it for the track all the time, it works. We actually have a helluva lot of space with the seats folded, I just moved and half went in the 135 and the big stuff in the tundra...TONS of space in my little car

I have fit 4x 18" tyres in mine, but had to fold the rear seat down. You may fit 4 wheels as they are smaller than the tyres...

If I recall only 1 fits in the trunk, 2 in the back seat, 1 in the front seat - be sure to use towels on the seats!

Although, LOL, I just leave the top down, put them all in the back seat, and use a shop less than 5 min. from home. As long as it's not raining it's all good
