Guys

I've received quite a few PM's regarding fitment on the 1-series. I'm almost certain these will work. Remember these are 17x8 w/ 47mm offset....

I just checked Tirerack and saw their suggested 17" wheels which had similar offsets to mine (look up moda EB1 which is 17x8 w/ 45mm offset). So that only leaves the difference bet a 225/45 vs 205/55 tire but both have the same overall diameter/height. The only difference is just the width but a 55 is more appropriate for a rim that is 5.5-7.5" whereas a 45 is good for a rim that is 7-8.5" (which leads me to believe that perhaps oem rims for the 1-series are 7.5" wide).

However, I suggest you confirm for yourself as I have no way of knowing for sure. Or if anyone else here can comment, please feel freeo to do so.

Thanks!

freak

i haven't found any other 1-series owner with the same wheels but all the research i've done points to it fitting.

http://www.kalach.easynet.be/style/style_256.htm

this is a stock oem for the 1-series, note it has the same offset, also 17" but 1" narrower than what i have which leads me to believe a 17x8 will definitely fit.
