Stage 1 sport Map , Faster than the M3
Sup Guys!
just to update you guys! am on Stage 1 Sport map and encountered a beautiful white M3 coupe, dude was game, i was with my wife, spare tire and full tank of gas 94 , when i first heard the sound of his downshift i thought he was DCT and said to my self i have no chance and i also said i wish i was on aggressive map. few minutes later i was walking on that M3 decisively repeatedly , several pulls ,3rd up to the top of 4th gear I was leaving him behind, It was a 6MT after all. he came to my right & gestured a sign of amazement , I showed him the Cobb access port, he smiled then it stopped right there. His exhaust was smelling like crazy , no idea if he was stock but all & for all am very pleased with this new gained power , so much grunt down low , my Temp did not even reach 110 today while cruising in 6th gear. Even a stock 135i will pull on an M3 up to a point; same torque, delivered earlier and in a lighter car. I keep trying to convince myself to get and M3 but then I realise I'm stepping into a slower car which sounds mad. I will one day, the reason for me to buy one other than the trick ///M bits is the V8 and the gorgeous noise but ill wait a little before I can justify one plus a supercharger kit thrown in.

well I see it this way! the Next M4 will be turbo charged and will weigh around 3400 lbs ( 300 less than the E92 M3) that's a confession from BMW that enthusiasts prefer nimble compact lighter cars. IMO the 135I is closer to that if you add the right goodies for it , as for the race even when he was straight in high power band he wasn't pulling. Power /weight Ratio was most likely in my favor

I was head to head with an M3 from a stop once. Granted we didn't go above 80kmh, he most likely would have pulled away after that. My car was stock back then, and I had a passenger.
I'd still take an m3 any day over mine ![]() |

Slightly walking on him but clearly , we were starting both in 3 rd gear and even when that V8 started screaming like crazy and he shift a lil after me i was still edging away , when we stopped i was at the very top of 4th.
he almost T boned me from the back when we slowed them for traffic so he was already like 2 cars behind.
